Stuart House has broad experience in the resources sector. Stuart was admitted to practice as a barrister and solicitor of the Supreme Court of Western Australia in 2004. Since being admitted to practice law, Stuart worked for several boutique legal practices before establishing House Legal, a specialist resources and native title practice.
Prior to entering the legal profession, Stuart worked in the Department of Mines and Petroleum, was an employed land manager with a large gold mining company and later established his own mining tenement management business. Stuart has also been a director of an ASX listed exploration company and held executive positions with listed and unlisted resources companies.
Stuart chairs the Aboriginal Affairs Committee of the Association of Mining and Exploration Companies (AMEC) and is an active participant on the Mining Legislation Committee. He also sits as a member of the Aboriginal Heritage and Native Title Industry Liaison Committee.
Stuart brings a unique set of skills in all aspects of resources law as well as practical experience and knowledge of the exploration industry and the management of land holdings. Stuart can provide you with timely and practical assistance liaising with Government departments and native title claimants and holders.
